Trump is just not "our guy"

We gritted our teeth and bore it during Operation Warp Speed. We looked the other way when he refused to fire Anthony Fauci and his inner circle. We gave him a pass on the crypto pump-and-dump spectacle.

Then he won re-election, and the disappointments piled up. He did not immediately pardon the January 6 prisoners. He installed Pam Bondi, Kash Patel, and Dan Bongino—three high-profile figures who ultimately delivered very little. He began surrounding himself with prominent Jewish rabbis and influencers. He turned on some of his most loyal allies, starting with Marjorie Taylor Greene. He couldn’t even be bothered to place his hand on the Bible during the swearing-in.

Then came the war, the blasphemous social media posts, and the new coziness with establishment figures like Mark Levin. Lest we forget that not a single person has been arrested over the Epstein files or the Weiner laptop.

To be fair, he accomplished some good things. Many of us overlooked the flaws in hopes that the wins would outweigh the failures. But despite a clear popular mandate and Republican majorities, the results were underwhelming. In return, he handed the Democrats a mountain of fresh ammunition to claw their way back into power. And despite all the exposed election irregularities and corruption, not a single high-profile perpetrator has been held accountable.
