Is that you can't work or motivate yourself to success.

You have to create a metaphoric gun to your head with a very real mental bullet. An outcome that is up there with death.

Let me explain:

You won't see growth in your life... personal or in income... from motivation. You can't willpower it either.

You will see it when you've endured enough pain that you have truly had enough and refuse to stay as you are.

Most men only stop drinking when it makes their life unbearable.

Most men only choose to take big risks and become successful when they reach a breaking point from the work they are stuck in.

I for example NEVER wanted to be an entrepreneur growing up. It wasn't till I was 22, broke and stuck and hating my job, that I literally couldn't live any longer in my current situation. I didn't want to build a business. I had to. My life was unbearable due to where coasting had gotten me.

Only when "at any cost, I can't live like this anymore" becomes your motivation will you see huge growth.

The way to achieve this is by removing what numbs you. The things that stop you from looking in the mirror and going "what the fucking fuck."

The cheap dopamine, cheap thrills, booze/pot/junk that leave you foggy and unclear. The things that let you feel okay, despite your life being very much "not okay" if you actually look it in the eye.

Most men never do this. They never look at the things they CHOOSE accept about themselves. Poor health. Poor habits. Awful results in everything.

They just open a beer, load up a video game, scroll social media and bury it. This is because looking at how ugly you are is hard. The best way to ensure you stay metaphorically fat and disgusting is simply to not look in the mirror.

You have to look at who you truly are and feel such disgust that you will no longer tolerate staying where you are.

Without this you will only get temporary bursts. You will only make do on willpower, which is finite.

Something close to a gun to your head must be created in your mind. You must vehemently reject who and what you are to the point that it keeps you up at night.

Then you'll simply make whatever you want happen.

This is why most men never unlock their potential till they hit rock bottom. Most, despite WANTING success, are always in a numb state of "mostly" comfortable. The years then pass, they get old, nothing changes.

Whatever it takes to trigger this. Do it.

The answer isn't a self help book. It isn't researching and admiring other role models. It isn't envisioning a better life and mapping out daily steps to get there.

It's unbridled-unholy-rage as a result of where your life choices have gotten you. 

This won't sustain you forever....But shit damn...It will guaranteed get you over the initial hurtle and to the point where "love of the game" will carry you.

Like I said before, it usually comes down to removing everything that is distracting and numbing you so that you are forced to look at yourself for who you truly are.

Radioactive Chinese steel scandal

 **At least three steel manufacturing facilities with Chinese ownership or significant Chinese management/involvement have been raided by Philippine authorities in 2026 after radioactive materials were detected in their processes, equipment, and finished steel products that were being produced and distributed commercially; references exist to additional prior cases, but no single official nationwide tally has been published.**

These cases involve the detection of isotopes such as uranium-238, thorium-228, thorium-232, and (in one instance) radium-226 by the Philippine Nuclear Research Institute (PNRI), often linked to imported scrap metals, along with findings of substandard reinforcing steel bars that failed Philippine National Standards testing (e.g., mass variation requirements). Authorities have ordered shutdowns, seized materials valued in the billions of pesos in at least one case, rescued workers from hazardous conditions, arrested Chinese and Filipino personnel, and referred matters for potential violations of nuclear safety, environmental, hazardous waste, consumer protection, and related laws. Products from some of these plants had already entered commercial channels, and tracing efforts continue.

The confirmed facilities include:

- **Philippine Sanjia-Steel Corp.** (Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental): Described as Chinese-run; radioactive materials found in scrap (reportedly linked to China in some accounts), production areas, and finished steel bars. Approximately 69 Chinese nationals were arrested. It has been linked to Chinese businessman Tony Yang (an incorporator/stockholder in earlier records). The Department of Environment and Natural Resources issued a cease-and-desist order and cancelled its environmental compliance certificate.

- **Chuangxing Steel Inc.** (also referred to as Chuanxing; Magalang, Pampanga): Explicitly described as Chinese-owned. Authorities seized over PHP 3 billion worth of radioactive-bearing materials, contaminated equipment, and substandard finished steel products. Chinese nationals were among those arrested or present as workers/officers. The NBI has stated this was the fourth steel bar manufacturer caught producing substandard products in its series of actions.

- **Davao Mighty Steel Corp.** (Barangay Ilang, Bunawan District, Davao City): Radioactive isotopes detected in the plant, production materials, and commercially sold reinforcing bars; half of tested market samples failed mandatory standards. Ten Chinese nationals (described in reports as including incorporators) and four Filipinos were arrested.

PNRI specialists and other reports have noted that two similar factories in Bulacan and Pampanga provinces had previously been shut down after hazardous radioactive isotopes were found in their production lines, using comparable outdated processes. Exact ownership details and current status for those earlier cases are less comprehensively detailed in available public reporting.

Some company representatives have stated that any radioactive materials present are naturally occurring radioactive materials (NORM) commonly associated with scrap-based steelmaking worldwide and were not deliberately added, and that operations held required environmental permits. What is up with WRSA?

 WRSA been down more than up lately.  I was thinking it was my side.  Tried multiple proxy servers, no proxy, different locations etc all to no avail.

I ditched Gab well over a year ago.  When he blocked non US Ip address, then blocked me on X when I merely mentioned the blocks without even tagging Torba or Gab.  

I since have tried to delete my Gab account to no success. I keep getting email notifications from Gab.  I even changed my user name to something like Torba is a dick in the hopes that it would get banned and no more fucking emails, but nope, still gettin the spam emails.

I never started a beef with him, but he has with me, so fuck that guy.

Manwhile I saw this.  The absolute worst idea to arm a bunch of commies in the schools.

When it rains it pours (shit)

The office girl has been out this past week dealing with some personal business. That meant I’ve had to go through the business inbox myself — and we’re talking hundreds of messages coming in every month.

I discovered two things pretty quickly. First, she hasn’t been following up on messages and takes forever to reply. Not sure what she’s been doing, but she isn’t getting back to people ASAP or really engaging with customers the way she should be lately.

Second, several customers have had urgent service issues that never got addressed. Specifically, we shipped orders out and the freight company still hasn’t delivered them.

I followed up with the shipping company. The employee told me the shipments weren’t delivered, they still have them, and then he added that he’s quitting the company.

I spent the whole morning making legal threats, gathering evidence, and sorting through the paperwork. I’m not legally liable, but it’s still a bad situation to be stuck in. The shipping company has the items, and I’ve got the chat logs, pictures, and signed waybills to back everything up. Lots of excuses — none of them valid for taking two months to deliver a couple of pallets.

It’s the kind of mess that shouldn’t happen, and it’s left me dealing with frustrated customers who just want what they already paid for.

Meanwhile, on this rainy afternoon, we have no machinery orders to build. (See above.)

I put the two welder guys to work building concrete slab forms, gathering all the scrap steel I’ve accumulated over the last few years for rebar, and pouring an 8x10-foot slab four inches deep. I have a spare cement mixer from a previous experiment that will be used for the task.

I still lack running water — just occasional barrels filled up via garden hose and a meter from the landlord. However, it is raining, and the gutter in front of the shop has a foot of running water in it, so that shall work.

I lack the funds to do the entire shop, and I can’t put large sections of the shop out of service, so I will have them do it one section at a time as budget and time allow. The first slab will be to place the plastic extrusion machine on. The next slab will be for the shredder.

Excess concrete will be put in sandbags and placed in the increasingly large ditch eroding in the driveway. I have lost one lane on the driveway due to the rain. The sandbags are not waterproof, but should be sufficient to allow for curing despite the running water. update Sand concrete and cement bought. 2 cubic meters comes out to a bit less than a hundred bucks. Which translates to a slab 8x20 feet 4 inches thick. Ready for pour, but materials wont arrive until tomorrow. Also made this today. 300 some odd dollars of plastic lumber.

The rain if anything has gotten even more.

 Sat night to  Monday, my phone was doing the emercency alert thing every few hours as yet another wave of rain came.  

We talking firehose like rain.  Heavy wind etc.  It is like a non stop typhoon... Or the exaggerated rain in Forrest Gump.

The chickens survived miraciously.  Although the coop is quite muddy.  Birds sitting on upturned plant pots.  I am sure they are hungry.  They devioured all the feed ASAP, and want more.  Because they ate the feeder empty yesterday.  

I have switched to the cheaper feed that is mostly wheat berries.  They seem to like it, and they can clean it out of the cook vs the crumbles that just get ground into the mud.  Plus the wheat if it is missed will sprout and they can eat it that way.
