I bought a new welding machine a couple years ago, cause my old unit had the power supply board burn out on it twice. Second time there were no replacement parts available, so I bought a new Italian made MIG welder.
Meanwhile bout 10 months later a used power supply board came available, so they stuck that in, and sent the welder back to me which got put in storage.
This week, my buddy was telling me that he was short a welding machine for his orders, offered to trade a rice mill shaker table and magnetic seperator for it. It didnt have a motor on it, but I had a cheap china motor that was not good for much except running a fan of some sort, so that was contributed ot the cause.
So now I can try using this classifier to remove dirt from my raw plastic flake without having to do a wash. Washing being expensive and needing a wastewater disposal permit.
The commercial grade magnetic seperator is a bonus, so I am happy with the trade.
I also sent over a hundred 2x4 boards for another barter so my accounts are mostly covered now.
Meanwhile, have another convention to attend. Will be showing the pallets at a plastic and packaging trade show. Im have a lot of serious inquiries, but money talks, and I need money, so whomever pays up first gets the stuff.
Yesterday I built a jig for pallet building. It is mostly complete, needs a few tweaks next time I use it. It is really heavy. Had to use the forklift to move it. I built a couple pallets with nails yesterday, which worked fine, but the tweaks will make it stuffer against the hammer pounding.
Slowly building my little factory here. It has been a obsession for 8 years already.
